[ ABOUT THIS PROJECT ]

// THE PROJECT

The US BBS scene has been thoroughly documented — Jason Scott's BBS Documentary captured North American history across six DVDs. Australian history has largely gone unrecorded.

1200bps.au exists to fix that. First-hand interviews with sysops and users. A definitive list of Australian boards. Coverage of the local demoscene, Fidonet node records, and the culture that grew up around the dial-up underground.
